Fire Safety Training

Level 1 

​Ensures that candidates know that fire safety is the responsibility of everyone in the workplace with recognition of their possible contribution to preventing the starting and spread of fires.

 

This qualification is aimed at all staff, particularly new starters, in any workplace, where a basic understanding of fire safety is required.

 

This qualification is assessed through a 15-question multiple-choice question examination. The duration of the examination is 30 minutes. Successful learners must achieve a score of at least 10 out of 15.

Guided Learning Hours: 4

All individuals involved with fire safety must receive all the required information and training to deal with fire safety issues.HABC are pleased to be able to offer Level 1 and Level 2 Fire Safety qualifications on the QCF (Qualifications Credit Framework).

 

The provision of these Fire Safety qualifications will assist organisations to meet their legal obligations as well as provide a much safer working environment for all of their employees. 

Level 2

​Ensures that candidates know that fire safety is the responsibility of everyone in the workplace and will recognise the consequences of a fire in any premises.

 

This qualification is aimed at anyone involved in the management of fire safety in any workplace. This includes managers, supervisors, team leaders, fire wardens (marshals), and staff working in any area where there is a potential risk of fire. 

This qualification is assessed through a 30-question multiple-choice question examination. The duration of the examination is 1 hour. Successful learners must achieve a score of at least 20 out of 30.
